Department of Statistics, Data Science and Epidemiology

Teaching

The Department of Statistics, Data Science and Epidemiology conducts teaching in a wide range of areas, including health sciences, social sciences, psychology, business, statistical computing and data analytics.

We offer online and on campus undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in applied statistics, as well as numerous short courses on specific statistical methods.

The department also offers Masters and PhD research degrees in statistics, but can also provide joint supervision for students in other disciplines.

A range of options are available and, depending on your background, you may undertake a short course (non-assessable) covering a range of statistical and computing topics designed to expand and update skills, or study individual units of study (assessable) which may be credited to other degree programs.
