The Department of Health Professions teaches health professional preparation courses. All our programs are accredited by external professional bodies and recognised throughout Australia.
Each course combines practical theoretical study with professional placement activities. Our graduates develop specialist occupational skills and advanced inter-professional skills and abilities. Students will also explore the potential of health technology within their profession and the use of 'big' data in health and design.
Our teaching staff use a variety of engaging, innovative pedagogical approaches throughout the curriculum. Students undertake problem based learning, online modules, podcasts and face-to-face skills classes.
