Master of Education: Astronomy Specialisation

Northeastern and Swinburne have recently partnered together for another innovative program - Master of Education: Astronomy Specialisation.

Students will earn a Master of Education degree from Northeastern, and a Graduate Certificate of Science (Astronomy) from Swinburne. Swinburne astronomy courses are completed entirely online, while other courses are completed on-ground or online at Northeastern.

  2. Apply to Swinburne for the Graduate Certificate of Science (Astronomy) on the Swinburne Astronomy Online website.

Swinburne Astronomy Online

Swinburne Astronomy Online (SAO) is a fully online postgraduate degree program in astronomy. It concentrates on the fundamental concepts of and key issues in contemporary astronomy. Designed for science educators and communicators, people working in astronomy related fields, amateur a stronomers, and anyone with a love of astronomy, SAO concentrates on building student's skills at communicating their science knowledge to others.

Enrolments for Swinburne Astronomy Online are open December - February and June - August each year.
