Prize Giving Ceremony 2009
The Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Sciences hosted their annual Prize Giving Ceremony on Friday, 29 May 2009. The ceremony was held to congratulate and acknowledge the achievements of the Faculty's most outstanding students. We are fortunate to have formed partnerships with a number of companies in the engineering field, who have kindly donated prizes.
At this year's ceremony, we had the privilege of presenting the W.P Brown medal to the Faculty's highest achieving student, Leah Strauch. This year it was presented by Dr Brown's Daughter, Ms Nan Brown together with Mr Nicholas Phillips, President and Chair of the Board of Engineers at Engineers Australia.
