Industry Based Learning
A unique feature of Swinburne undergraduate degree courses is an optional
Industry-Based Learning(IBL) year in which you are
placed in paid supervised employment as part
of your degree. IBL provides practical experiences
and a proven advantage in the job market. Civil
Engineering students can look forward to a wide
range of opportunities in both the public and
private sectors when seeking IBL experiences.
International IBL placements are also available and have been undertaken by a number of recent students.
