Mr Peter Bruce (BBus, MBA),
Lecturer Aviation

Peter’s employment in the aviation industry included over 16 years as an operations controller in the Operations Control department in TAA/Australian Airlines.  At Swinburne, he teaches Undergraduate units mainly with regard to the business management and operational aspects of the industry and leads an Aviation Study Tour every two years.  He also convenes numerous Aviation Management Postgraduate units and is involved extensively with the annual Aviation Industry Seminars.  His research interests are in decision-making in Airline Operations and his PhD topic is in the same area.  He is an early career researcher and is focusing on conference presentations and publishing his research.  Peter has published a number of case study books in Human Resource Management.
