Swinburne Aviation Leadership Summit

Swinburne’s Aviation Leadership Summit provides networking and development opportunities for Australian and international professionals. In 2015 this long-running annual conference makes an important change, by evolving into the Aviation Leadership Summit. The overarching aim of the Summit is to not only support the development of leadership capabilities in our emerging leaders within the sector, but to also foster organisational capability in the field of leadership development.

Getting there

The summit venue is a short 3 minute walk from Swinburne's hawthorn campus or the glenferrie railway station and is located on the south east corner of Burwood and Glenferrie roads.

Public transport

The Hawthorn campus is bordered by Glenferrie Roads, Park Street, William Street and Burwood Road, Hawthorn.

  • Train: The Hawthorn campus is located approximately one minutes’ walk from the Glenferrie railway station. Trains on the Belgrave, Lilydale and Alamein lines travel from the city in 10 minutes.
  • Tram: The no. 16 tram stops on Glenferrie Rd directly in front of the Glenferrie train station.

Parking

Parking can be found behind the Arts Centre off Kent Street. Additional parking is also available a short walk from the Centre off Grace St and off Wakefield Street.

Please note there is very limited parking available on and around the Hawthorn campus and restrictions apply. Ticket parking is available around the Glenferrie area but is often limited to 2 hours. There is a multideck car park in wakefield street that costs $6.50 per day and may have limited spaces available.
