The School of Design at Swinburne University invites you to attend a free forum on Design Ethnography. Featuring a panel of experts, this event aims to examine how the methodologies of Design, HCI and ethnography might be applied in designing our digital future.
Highly regarded researcher in HCI, Professor Paul Dourish (University of California, Irvine) will present on “Design, Futures and the Sociology of Expectations”, while distinguished researcher and author, Professor Sarah Pink (RMIT) will present “Design Ethnography for Responsible Digital Futures”.
In a forum chaired by Jeni Paay, position statements on this topic will be presented by Jane Burry and Kurt Seemann (Swinburne University of Technology) and John Murphy (Design4Use). A question and answer session will then open up to the audience.
The forum will follow with networking and light refreshments.
