Mental Health Week: Compost for Charity
|Date:||Tuesday 1 May - Thursday 3 May 2018|
|Time:||10am - 3pm daily|
Swinburne Student Residences has an On-Site In-Vessel composting machine, on campus. This in-vessel machine processes the food scraps from the students living in the Residential College to optimise the carbon and nitrogen inputs from food scraps and make high-quality compost which is then either used by the Swinburne Horticultural Students or for charity drives such as this.
Proceeds from Compost for Charity will go to support Stay Kind, an organisation focused on reducing violence and youth suicide.
