University Mental Health Day aims to raise awareness of the mental health and well-being needs of those who study and work in higher education settings.

This year’s theme is “CommUNIty”, which is a great opportunity to celebrate many aspects of the Swinburne community and encourage students and staff to be active in supporting mental health.

Join us at the following events on our Croydon campus:

Breakfast for trade apprentices and staff
Croydon campus Auditorium, 8am

Trade apprentices and their teachers are invited to come together for breakfast alongside support agencies and internal health services, to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote support options.

Lunch BBQ
Croydon campus BBQ area, 11am - 1.30pm

A welcoming BBQ will be held for all students and staff. Headspace, Transgender Victoria, Easter Centre Against Sexual Assault (ECASA) and other support services will be in attendance to discuss important issues around mental health.
