Strategies for Success is a free 5-day short course designed to give you the skills you need to succeed at university. Whether you are coming to Swinburne from secondary school, vocational education or returning to study, adapting to university life is going to involve some changes.

Strategies for Success can help improve your results, boost your confidence and is a great way to meet new people. 

Topics include:

  • What skills do I need to be a successful student?
  • How do I get and stay motivated?
  • How do I balance study, paid work, family and leisure time?
  • How do I get the most out of my lectures and tutorials?
  • What Academic Support services are available?

Strategies for Success for all Faculty of Health, Arts and Design students

  • The 5-day program is suitable for all newly enrolled and continuing students in undergraduate and coursework masters programs.
  • Monday 16 to Friday 20 July 2018
  • Free lunch is provided for registered participants on each day of the program.

Please register for each of the days you wish to attend, and come along to as many sessions as you can.
