|Date:||Commencing 9 August|
|Time:||Thursdays, 12.30pm – 1.30pm|
|Venue:||EN609A, Hawthorn Campus|
Are you Mindful or is your Mind Full?
Come along to the free 6-session workshop run by Mental Health Clinician Yvonne Blacklaws. Beginning 9 August 12:30pm-1:30pm, every Thursday, Location EN609a Hawthorn.
Learn some skills to stay in the present moment rather than being consumed by unhelpful thoughts and worries about what has happened in your lives in the past and how it will be in the future. Learning mindfulness will allow you to take control over your attention to increase your present-centered awareness. In allowing your body to be attentive to the moment, you are likely to become more in tune with yourself and more accepting of your own thoughts and emotions. It is sure to cause a greater sense of your overall wellbeing, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve study and/or work performance.
Open to all staff and students. No registration required.
