Our panellists

Christopher Elliott Design

Christopher Elliott Design is a full-service design studio offering all aspects of interior architecture, furniture design, interior decoration and project management. The studio accommodates a wide range of projects and tailors its design and management services to suit. The studio takes great pride in personally consulting with clients, using this as an opportunity to both inform and educate them on the status or specifications of a job.

Kurt Taylor, member of the panel for this event, was a 2014 graduate of the Bachelor of Product Design Engineering program at Swinburne. Some of his achievements at the university include a twelve-month placement with Draeger Medical Australia – a global medical device company focusing on healthcare machinery and technology advancement, and co-ordinating his final year exhibition with thirty-six graduates, alongside completing his final year project; a wearable medical device to assist with pain management of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Raynaud’s Syndrome. After finishing his course in December 2014 with Honours, he continued to work for Christopher Elliott Design – a position he obtained in his final year of studies.

The Mitchellake group

Matt Smith, member of the panel for this event, works with the Melbourne MitchelLake Consulting team to source strategic talent across experience and service design, technology, product, digital marketing, growth and data science/digital analytics.

MitchelLake exists to help great ideas succeed by enabling entrepreneurs to scale and companies of scale innovate. They do this through truly embedding themselves in the local ecosystem and instilling curiosity, partnerships and being mindful of everyone they work with.
