Port Engineering Units
Port Engineering units form the Foundation studies for Graduate Certificate in Port and Harbour Engineering. This is the first formal qualification in Port Engineering in Australia and will be available for enrollments in 2012.These are also Elective units of several Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Masters courses in the areas of Civil Engineering, Construction Management and Technology

Each of these single units of study comprise of 36 hours of on-campus (Melbourne) lectures and tutorials within an intensive 5 day structure. A number of industry-based applications and case-study examples will be introduced to complement the lectures.
The Port and Harbour Engineering (HES6PHE) and the Dredging Engineering (HES6DRE) units of study both run concurrently in Semester 1 and cannot be undertaken at the same time.
The Port Access and Navigation (HES6PAN) and the Port Structural Design (HES6PSD) units of study both run concurrently in Semester 2 and cannot be undertaken at the same time.
