PhD Research Area

Topic:

Modelling and simulation of electromagnetic damper to improve performance of a vehicle during cornering

Objective:

The aim of this research is to improve the performance of a vehicle during cornering with separate electromagnetic dampers (EMD) placed at each wheels. This method is necessary to improve the handling and stability of vehicle during cornering at a road with or without banking.

This question came out on surface due to the continuous development of EMD for vehicle suspension using which a dramatic improvement of vehicle efficiency and the potentiality could be possible.

The ultimate goal of this PhD level research is to perform the feasibility study of the EMD which will work to improve the vehicle performance during the turn. This project will improve the suspension system of Electric Vehicle.
