Properties of metal/epoxy foam hybrid structures
Objective:
In this project, the performance of hybrid structures made of suitable grade of high strength aluminium alloy filled with epoxy foam is evaluated. The aim is to assess their potential application as door intrusion beams, which will help to reduce the weight of the car structure.
