Automatic control of dynamic systems
The purpose of this project is to develop advanced control methodologies for dynamic systems with uncertainties, to solve the long-standing engineering problems posed by imperfections of the actuators and sensors, and to obtain a systematic and unified methodology.

Intelligent control for managed pressure drilling
The objective of this research is to improve the ability of teams performing well planning and implementation decisions to perform in the face of new challenges.

Intelligent converter design for renewable energy power generators
The project will involve the theoretical analysis, design and construction of novel DC/AC converters that mimic the behaviour of synchronous generators together with their controllers.
