Droplet Generation from Supersonic JetsDroplet generation from the impingement of high speed gas injection into baths is very important to many pyrometallurgical operations, particularly oxygen steelmaking.
In this project, a more thorough understanding of the phenomena will be developed through rigorous mathematical analysis of the problem.
Modelling of Oxygen Steelmaking
In this project(s), prior research will be extended by developing computer models for predicting slag generation, foaming of the slag in the vessel and end carbon.
