Swinburne Researchers Connect with China

Study Melbourne recently hosted the "Study Melbourne@Shanghai World Expo 2010" to promote Victoria's world-class education and training system that boasts world-leading research universities and Australia's best quality and most innovative vocational education and training sector.
The event ran a series of live webcasts, featuring education and industry experts talking about their area of expertise and answer questions submitted by a remote audience.
Swinburne's Professor Christopher Berndt and Mr Ambarish Kulkarni together with Post-Graduate student Andrew Ang were the guest speakers for the 'Industry and advanced manufacturing technologies' webcast.
A live audience of 25 watched the webcasr from the Connections 2010 room at the Shanghai
World Expo and were joined by several hundred on-line participants.
The webcasts were broadcast jointly in English and Mandarin.
