Electrospun Bioactive Nanofibers as Biomimic ECMs from Structure Properties to Functions

Abstract
In this talk Professor Mo will present her experience in nanofibers made from self assemble and electrospining techniques and tissue engineering applications.
Introduction to electrospining techniques followed by a summary of her research at Donghua University in creating tissue engineering scaffolds for various applications will be given. In vivo case study of constructing blood vessel made form PU will be discussed. Future directions of creating biomimetic ECM and its link to nanotechnology will also be presented.
