11th Aviation Seminar Series

The Eleventh Aviation Seminar Series was conducted at Hawthorn campus in early February. Further details on the sessions are available from the Swinburne Aviation website.
Local and International speakers included Stephen Tien from Rockwell Collins, David Cohney from Airbiz, and presenters from Shell Aviation.
A wide field of topics were presented and discussed, including the Planning, Building and Operating on the Antarctic Ice Runway, Emerging Air Traffic, Navigation and Radar technologies, Fuel Mobility, Safety Management, Human Factors in Aviation, Flight Simulation, and Simulation in Healthcare.
The series was kindly supported by major companies such as Shell Aviation, ThalesATM, General Flying Services, Jetstar, and Airbiz.
The 2009 seminars will be held from 4th to 6th of February.
