The Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Sciences recognises outstanding achievements by students from different disciplines and at various stages in their university career.
The annual prize giving event is strongly supported by industry with companies, industry bodies and individuals donating prizes and attending the evening to make presentations to students.

Faculty Scholarships
Port of Melbourne Corporation Scholarships
The Port of Melbourne Corporation offers up to four scholarships to second year civil engineering students at Swinburne University of Technology. Each scholarship is valued at $5000 per semester for the remainder of the undergraduate program. Industry based learning and vacation work may also be available to successful applicants.

Sir Reginald Ansett Scholarship for Aviation
Do you have a PASSION for an aviation career?
The Sir Reginald Ansett Trust was established in July 2010 to provide grants for public charitable purposes in Australia, with an emphasis to assist children/young people to take their place in life.
The trust offers a scholarship to a first year Bachelor of Aviation (Aviation Management, Aviation/Commerce, Aviation Management/Commerce) students at Swinburne University of Technology. Each scholarship is valued at $10000 per year for three years and applications open in November/December each year. Download the Application Form

- Philippa McCall Scholarship$2000 and two Bursaries $1000 each for a female student enrolled in 2010 in a postgraduate coursework diplomas or degrees.
- Marilyn Godley Scholarship$2000 for a female indigenous student resident in Victoria enrolled in 2010 in an undergraduate degree course at a Victorian University.
- Catalysts' Centenary Bursary$1000 for a female indigenous student resident in Victoria enrolled in 2010 in an undergraduate degree course at a Victorian University.
- E.D. Daniel Scholarship and Benefactor Bursaries$2500, and two Bursaries $1000 each for a female student enrolled at a Victorian university in 2010, in a fourth year of an undergraduate degree which has an identifiable honours component.
- Yvonne Aitken Scholarship$2000, for a female student enrolled at a Victorian university in 2010, in a in a Graduate Diploma of Education.
