CMP Students win Davies Collison Cave Innovation Award at the 2012 Swinburne Venture Cup

CMP students Mark Turner, Ben Cumming and Han Lin have been awarded the Davies Collison Cave Innovation Award at the 2012 Swinburne Venture Cup.

The Swinburne Venture Cup is a venture planning competition for teams of Swinburne students across all sections of the University. Teams are required to submit an executive summary, attend a five minute technology free pitch, submit a full business plan and present a further 15 minute pitch to a team of investors.

The winning team is awarded $20,000, whilst the best teams in the TAFE, undergraduate and postgraduate divisions receive $3000. CMP students Mark Turner, Ben Cumming and Han Lin were awarded the Davies Collison Cave for their commercialisation venture of CMP research. The award comprises $5000 of in kind services from Davies Collison Cave, Australia's largest intellectual property firm.
