Swinburne researchers awarded Excellerate Australia Grants

The Centre for Micro-photonics is proud to announce that two members of our Centre, together one member from the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology were awarded $100,000.00 for their Swinburne-led project:

Associate Professor Andrew Clayton, Professor Feng Wang and Mr Muhammad Khattab, in collaboration with Australian Custom Pharmaceuticals, for their spectroscopic and theoretical study of a potent anticancer drug.

The Excellerate Australia Grants program encourages collaborative R&D projects that produce new innovative products and manufacturing processes while supporting longer-term placement of PhD students in industry, helping to improve Australia’s university industry engagement.
