New equipment grants for CMP researchers

In mid-June the FSET received additional funding for exceeding teaching load targets for 2014.

FSET and Swinburne Research jointly fund teaching and research equipment purchases.

Among terrific interest to in equipment purchases to support both teaching and research portfolios, the following CMP application were successful:

Benjamin Cumming jointly awarded $174,253 for a Bruker FTIR Spectrometer & Microscope from Swinburne research and the faculty

Baohua Jia awarded $12,790 for Advanced characterisation system for supercapacitor energy storage devices

Sarah Russell awarded $10,458 for a NIKON NSTORM Super-resolution Microscope
