CMP and CSIRO host symposium of Lab-on- a chip sensing platforms

Thursday May 1 2014

The development of novel lab-on-a-chip sensing technologies relies on the understanding of micro- and nano-scale science of physical phenomena and its interaction with chemistry and biology.

The aim of this symposium is to provide a forum for physicists, biologist, chemists and engineers to share their latest research and development and discuss challenges, future directions and opportunities for collaboration in the cutting edge area of lab on a chip.

The topics of the Symposium will cover micro-/nano-fluidics, sensors and detection techniques, sensor materials, integrated lab on a chip systems, bioMEMS and diagnostics, micro-/nano-fabrication techniques, separation and sample processing techniques.
