Crossing the P, Dotting the Alpha, and a Tale of a Few Different Zeros

Results of several table-top experiments probing fundamental symmetries of Nature will be discussed, including a measurement of atomic parity violation in Yb, a search for parity violation and a possible temporal variation of the fine-structure "constant" in Dy, and a stringent limit on a possible violation of the Bose-Einstein statistics for photons obtained in experiments with Ba.
