How are students selected and what advice would you give to someone applying?
Students apply through VTAC and also through the preselection process. An applicant’s preselection material is assessed by staff for suitability to proceed to the interview stage. The interview looks at the folio/showreel, the applicant’s knowledge of the course and industry and an assessment of the applicant’s ability to undertake the demands of the course. The best advice is to go to Open Days and ask staff exactly what it takes to get into the course.

Swinburne has worked hard to prepare students to work at the highest levels of the industry. This has been achieved through close and ongoing collaboration with leading local and international design professionals.
