Im making a Flash AS2
Tutorial Project on how to use a Digital Camera to create Depth of Field.

I've created an animation of the IRIS of a camera.

I want the user to be able to drag the F-Stop Slider to change the size of the aperture. I've attempted to use the built in flash volume sliders and added a drop target to each F-stop Number.
But the problem is, once i add the drop targets, the slider_mc loses its _y _x values and dosnt stay constrained to the horizontal slider line that it once was on. i want it to drag only in the horizontal axis and and only in the -60 + 60 range. the drop target works and the aperture changes when the slider is on its F#. But it dosnt really resemble a slide effect. because the i cant get it stay in a horizontal line.

i know this is a long comment, but your help would be greatly appreciated.

my project is due in 4 weeks.
Thanks.

Very difficult to say without seeing the file and actual code. You might be better off posting this on a Flash forum such as actionscript.org

cheers
