Lucy is a lecturer, Communication Design. Lucy has been a design professional for over 20 years having graduated form RMIT University with a Bachelor of Arts, Visual Communication in 1985. Lucy has extensive industry experience and has worked as a graphic designer, in a range of design studios. In 2000, Lucy established her own design practice, designing and managing a diverse variety of communication design projects.
Lucy has also been actively involved in post-secondary design education since 1992 and has a Master of Education from The University of Melbourne. Lucy has as strong interest in the relationship between culture, design process and decision-making in post-secondary design settings and has conducted research on how the influences of culture manifest in the design practice of international students in Australian Universities.
