Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Communication and IT from University of Westminster, 1996

Jerry has an extensive international track-record in design and communication; and has provided creative solutions for some of the world’s most well-known companies. He is experienced in commercial storyboarding, copywriting, graphics, interactive design, photography, video editing, and multimedia production.

Jerry’s research investigates digital content creation; participatory design and media; and communications policy. Current major research projects include:

Jerry's PhD examines participatory content creation and social media. He is the editor with Jo Ann Tacchi (QUT) of 'Participatory Content Creation: Principles and Practices' UNESCO, 2008. Jerry is also a Board Member of the David C. Lam Institute for East-West Studies; a member of the Institute for Social Research, Swinburne University; and a Senior Researcher in the ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation.
