Switched on

'Switched On' is a Brightgreen initiative. We challenge the design community to create the world's greatest eco light. It can be a new fixed or free downlight, bulb, lamp, task light or something completely new using the freedoms of high end LED's to combat climate change and planned obsolescence.
Submissions must include digital attachments of 3D renderings and relevant specifications.
The three winning designs will each receive $1000 each. The winner will be decided by a panel the final decision to award prizes is at the discretion of the Brightgreen Product Development Team.

Oberhausen International Short Film Festival

The Oberhausen festival is the longest standing international short film competition in the world and receives more than 2,600 entries annually for its International Competition alone. It has always been a flexible and independent festival in the standard of quality against which it measures short form. Location: Germany

Interior Design Awards

The Interior Design Awards is an annual program developed by the design industry to celebrate and promote outstanding commercial and residential design. Extensive coverage of projects and their designers is achieved in print and electronic media, including metropolitan and national newspapers, lifestyle and design based magazines. Any Australian-based design professional can enter.Location: Port Melbourne

Sydney International Film Festival

From 3 to 21 June 2009 we'll be presenting the 56th Sydney Film Festival. This year, as ever, we're presenting films from all over the world.
The Official Competition has been established to reward new directions in film. The SFF will be seeking films that have emotional power and resonance, are audacious, cutting edge and courageous, and go beyond the usual treatment of a subject matter.

Melbourne International Film Festival 2008

MIFF 2009, 24 July to 9 August, is fast approaching and as we draw nearer more information will be added to this section of the site. The Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) is an iconic Melbourne event. MIFF hosts a feast of cinematic delicacies from over 50 countries for nineteen days each Winter, heavily garnished with a range of parties and special events that cast a celebratory mood over the city. The Festival enjoys annual admissions of more than 182,000, making it one of Melbourne's significant public events. Location: Melbourne
