Students also completed a 4-week projects program at Weimar University (The Bauhaus). Weimar University made a special effort for Swinburne students by providing a small house in the city centre to act as a base for studio work. Access to other parts of the University was also provided including computer labs, workshop facilities and student campus amenities. During the stay in Weimar a 3-day Berlin visit was organised.
Following the 6-week program many students took advantage of their location and stayed on in Germany or traveled to other parts of Europe.
