Each year, the Faculty coordinates an Exhibition of current Industry Placement Student work, and invites current Employers and their Industry Supervisors to attend. 

The aim of this Exhibition is for Industry Placement Students, Academic Mentors and Industry Supervisors to have an opportunity to view some of the work the current group of students has produced. We also use this exhibition to promote the program to students considering applying for Industry Placement.

All Industry Placement Students are required to participate in the exhibition, and employers normally assist their students with preparation of the exhibits. As confidentially issues often surround work produced, it is a precondition that participating Industry Placement Employers provide official authorisation for the items selected.

The 2007 Industry Placement Exhibition was officially opened on the 7th of September, by internationally renowned designer David Lancashire. With a crowd of over 150 guests, the evening displayed work from over 50 students from all disciplines – Communication Design, Interior Design, Film and Television, Multimedia Design and Industrial Design.
