Online Enquiry Form
Students who successfully obtain Industry Placement are motivated high achievers, thus their transition to a commercial working environment is always approached with energy and intelligence.
While they may require guidance early on, the investment will soon reap rewards as their open approach delivers results on projects and enhances creativity.
Student Compatibility
In order for our Industry Placement Mentors to identify the most compatible student for your organization, we consider the following:
- the type of work you do
- performance, behavioral and reporting standards
- examples of your typical client base and project work
- what work experience you are offering the student
- what you expect from an Industry Placement student
- opportunities for mentorship, supervision and continued support
A short list of candidates will be selected that best match your requirements. You will then interview each of the selected students to establish which one will best fit your culture and the role.
Student Skills
After the successful completion of second year study at Swinburne University, students have learned a variety of skills such as creative and strategic thinking, visual and tactile conceptualization and research methods. These practical skills, combined with academic strengths, make Swinburne students particularly valuable as innovative “thinking” designers or filmmakers
We encourage you submit an online enquiry form (link), detailing any information that you require and the relevant Industry Placement Mentor will contact you to discuss whether our students capabilities can match the skills you require.
