"I was involved in the Industry Placement program as part of my final semester of my Bachelor of Design (Interior Design) . I spent eight months working for Tonya Hinde Interior Design as part of my placement. I learnt a lot about the industry and what role interior designers play in the design process and completion of a contracted job. Dealing with architects, sales representatives, engineers and clients has dramatically developed my person skills and influenced my confidence. I will always be grateful for the opportunity I had to do industry placement and urge any future students to get involved. Swinburne has been fantastic in my development as a designer and has prepared me to work in the industry."
