Interior Design
Overview
Interior Design is about designing dynamic spaces that work for the people who use them.
Interior Design at Swinburne combines the practical, technical and conceptual skills required for a career in design. Your creativity will be tested against a series of cultural, social and environmental design issues. You will develop your creative thinking skills and apply them to a series of problems that include design for residential, commercial and public buildings, detailing and other technical issues, sustainable practice, the presentation of ideas, and your understanding of the history and theory of interior design.

Portfolio Guidelines
Undergraduate applicants entering Year 1 of a Bachelor degree and not seeking exemptions are not required to submit a portfolio. Those seeking exemptions should refer to the Faculty of Design Undergraduate Portfolio Guidelines.
Postgraduate applicants must submit a portfolio and should refer to the Faculty of Design Postgraduate Portfolio Guidelines.
