Many of our courses are designed to allow you to progress easily from one qualification to another.

The amount of credit awarded for previous studies is an indication only and can only be determined during enrolment, or advised by the Admissions officer upon receipt of the applicant's transcript and syllabus.

In order to be considered for academic credit for previous studies the applicant must:

  • meet the academic and English language requirements for the Swinburne course. Refer to course search to find out more about entry requirements.
  • have successfully completed the course they are seeking credit for. Where the course has not been completed, the applicant may be eligible for some credit, which will be determined during the application or enrolment process
  • have achieved at least a grade equivalent to a pass or above for all units the applicant is seeking credit for
  • have completed previous study within Swinburne’s time limit requirements
