Definitions of fields used in the 2008 Fee Schedule: 

  • bulletEFTSL Equivalent Full Time Student Load is a measure of the study load for one year for a student undertaking a course on a full-time basis.

    bullet2008 SCA for Pre-1997 Students relates to students enrolled in a Commonwealth Supported Place who commenced their program before 1 January 1997 under the pre-HECS arrangements. Such students remain eligible for this SCA rate until 31 December 2008, provided they remain enrolled in the program without interruption.

    bullet2008 SCA for Pre-2005 Students relates to students enrolled in a Commonwealth Supported Place who commenced their program prior to 1 January 2005 under the HECS arrangements. Such students remain eligible for this SCA rate until 31 December 2008, provided they remain enrolled in the program without interruption.

    bullet2008 SCA for 2005 Commencing Students relates to students enrolled in a Commonwealth Supported Place, who commenced a Higher Education program at Swinburne in 2005. Such students remain eligible for this SCA rate until 31 December 2008, provided they remain enrolled in the program without interruption.

    bullet2008 SCA for Pre-2008 Students relates to students enrolled in a Commonwealth Supported Place, who enrolled in a Higher Education program at Swinburne for the first time in 2006 or in 2007.

    bullet2008 SCA for 2008 Commencing Students relates to students enrolled in a Commonwealth Supported Place, who enrolled in a Higher Education program at Swinburne for the first time in 2008.

    bullet2008 Tuition Fee for Undergraduate Students relates to students enrolled in an undergraduate Full Fee Paying Place.

    bullet2008 Tuition Fee for Postgraduate Students relates to students enrolled in a postgraduate Full Fee Paying Place.
