Pivot Tables
PivotTables is a reporting tool that allow you to create multidimensional data layout in the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet by dragging and dropping column headings to move data around.
Please read PivotTables Introduction before you start using the following tables. It is advised that the file is saved in to your computer.
VTAC Preference Distribution Historic Data 2002-2010
The following tables are based on the VTAC Timely and Change of Preferences data files of year 2002 to 2010.
As from 2006, period of Timely with late applications (Late Timely) is included in the PivotTables and is normally available in mid-November. In addition, data of first 6 preferences are also introduced as from 2006 VTAC data.

VTAC Master File 2009 data
The following table is based on the data from VTAC Master File for 2008/2009 Selection. This table includes additional background information (i.e. classification of students' postcode into region, Year 12 school, Enter score, VTAC categories) for 'Swinburne ONLY' enrolled students.
