Student Feedback on Units (SFU)
(Formerly Student Feedback on Subjects)
Information for Students
The traditional SFU has been replaced by the Student Feedback Survey (SFS) for most Higher Ed. units. The SFS is a new survey combining the SFU and the Student Feedback on Teaching (SFT) into one form. The SFU may be still used where a combined SFS is not appropriate.
The Student Feedback on Units Survey provides you the opportunity to give feedback on your units online where a combined SFS has not been listed or is not appropriate.
All central University survey links appear in your
My Swinburne portal in
the portlet called 'My Surveys' at the end of each Teaching Period. You will need to log in to My Swinburne
to access the surveys.
Please take the time to fill in surveys for each
of your units and tell us what you really think about how things
are going. We take your feedback very seriously and produce reports
for the faculties that they use in their evaluation and planning
processes.
Also, take the time to write constructive comments, particularly
where you think we could do better. These comments are used by the
faculties to work out how to improve. You have up to 1000 characters
(which is about 150 words) in each of the comment boxes.
Please note that we do not pass on to the faculties any details
which could identify you but we do ask that you do not include comments
which could cause offence.

SFU Sample survey
Below is a sample of the onlinesurvey so you can have
a look at the questions. Please DO NOT fill this in as we are not processing
paper forms; it is for information only.
