Student Feedback on Units (Subjects) - 2006

The aims of this Survey are to :

bullet

provide information about the effectiveness of teaching and learning

bullet

to create an environment that allows all participants to constructively contribute to the improvement of the educational process

bullet

to facilitate a process of improvement in course delivery

bullet

to inform curriculum development and the evaluation of innovative teaching practices; and

bullet

to recognise and encourage excellence in teaching and learning.

Current policy is that all Higher Education subjects are to be surveyed via student feedback at least once within each yearly cycle. Each semester student feedback is reported to subject Convenors, and faculty results to Deans of Faculties. Survey outcomes are reported to the APQC.
