Commencing Student Surveys
Up to 2007, Swinburne University undertook New and Enrolling student surveys which were administered on paper during enrolment and collected information on demographics and satisfaction with marketing, recruitment and enrolment issues.
On review, it was decided that the information collected did not add sufficient value, due to limitations in the distribution and collection methods and poor data quality. Work is currently underway to review Univesity information needs relating to commencing and re-enrolling students to make better use of this survey contact and to broaden it's scope to better reflect the student life cycle, student experience and engagement.
