Strategic Planning and Quality

Welcome to TAFE Quality

The University's approach to quality is described in the Quality Management Policy and Procedure. The policy states that

"the purpose of Swinburne's quality management is to ensure the quality and ongoing improvement in all aspects of performance - especially in the core activity areas of education, training and research, but also in all facets of organisational planning, management and operations".

Swinburne TAFE's quality system describes the processes that are necessary for TAFE to provide high quality training and assessment services to it's various stakeholders. These processes also satisfy the requirements of:

Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF)
ESOS (Education Services for Overseas Students)
ISO9001:2000
relevant Swinburne University Policies
other statutory regulations and government policies and directions.
Swinburne's quality processes are described in various quality documents including policies, procedures, forms, guidelines and checklists. If you would like to suggest changes to these documents please, contact the Quality Coordinator
You can also report a system issue by completing the quality system issue notification form.
