Academic Senate Steering Committee

The functions of the Academic Senate Steering Committee are to—

• consider issues relating to the management, planning, direction and development of the Academic Senate;
• consider and make recommendations to the Academic Senate as required in relation to matters including management, planning, direction, development and administration of the Academic Senate, taking into consideration the Academic Senate’s approved annual work schedule or plan;
• act on behalf of the Academic Senate in making recommendations on any urgent issues that arise between scheduled meetings of the Academic Senate, and to report to the Academic Senate on action that has been recommended; and
• consider and report on issues referred to it by the Academic Senate or another Committee.
