The Rewards component of Performance, Development and Rewards has two elements:
PDR Performance Bonus
- The performance bonus budget is approximately 3.5% of total base salaries
- Performance bonuses will not be paid for the 2008 Performance Cycle – we will bed in the process first and make changes based on feedback
- A performance bonus will be paid to up to 30% of eligible staff at the end of the 2009 performance cycle
Other Rewards
- Performance Bonuses do not replace existing rewards practices in faculties and business units (i.e. monthly staff awards)
- A key focus of the PDR process is development opportunities for all staff to support the achievement of performance objectives and career progression (i.e. sabbaticals, mentoring, training, on-the-job learning)
