There is still time to respond to the Swinburne Culture survey. The survey was launched by Vice Chancellor Professor Linda Kristjanson as part of a broader commitment to foster a work environment that optimises the talents of our staff and ensures that we have a respectful and highly professional working environment.
The survey is open to all permanent and some sessional staff. You should have already received an invitation from SurveyMgr@DenisonConsulting.com with your link and instructions, and we will continue to send out reminders to those who have not participated to date.

Responding to the Culture Survey
The Swinburne culture survey is designed to understand 'the way we work around here' and where strengths and challenges lie in ensuring we have the work environment that allows each of us to excel.
There is no singular agreed definition of organisational culture although we all know what it is. For this exercise we are viewing culture as "the way things get done around here". When responding to the survey it may help to think about how you would describe your work environment if someone asked you what it was like to be at Swinburne.
Whenever possible please use your immediate work area as your point of reference for responding to the questions as this is where you have the most in-depth view of the culture and should allow us to see any cultural differences between areas. Some of the questions in the survey require you to view Swinburne more broadly, whenever possible respond in relation to your larger work group or Division/Area as this is the area you are most familiar with.
A few questions require you to comment on Swinburne as a whole. If you feel that you cannot answer these questions as you have no insight at that level then please choose the "not applicable" option.
