Credit card policy
Please note the credit card policy states that the head of the department needs to authorise:
1. The application for a new credit card (by signing section 3)
2. Subsequent applications for increases to the credit card limit (in writing to the CFO)
3. Changes to default account codes (if changing departments the new HoD needs to authorise)
Security code for Online Purchase
This is an extra security precaution that is required by some merchants when making online purchases.
Missing credit card receipt declaration form
Required for all expenses under $75 (excluding GST) where the receipt has been lost. This form needs to be signed by both the cardholder and the authorised supervisor (not their delegates).
Statutory Declaration
Required for all expenses over $75 (excluding GST) where the receipt has been lost. This form needs to be witnessed by someone with the authority to witness statutory declarations.
How long does it take?
1. ...to process an application for a new credit card?
Credit cards are issued by Westpac, and it usually takes around 2 weeks for the bank to process
2. ...to change the credit card limit?
These are also processed by Westpac, and usually take 24-48 hours.
