Key Security

Keys are a big risk for the University especially Master or Sub-Master keys. To ensure they are not stolen and to lessen the likelihood of them being lost it is recommended you:

• Do not leave them in your door.
  
• Do not leave them visible on your desk.
  
• Lock your office door when you are not in the room.
  
• Do not store them in your desk drawer, unless it is lockable.
  
• Master and Sub-master are to be kept locked away when they are not in use.
  
• Do not loan your keys to other staff or students.
  
• Do not put any information on the keys that relate them to the University.

If your keys are lost or stolen ensure you report it to Security.
