Careers and Employment has recognised the need for a Careers Consultant dedicated to helping international students. This new role has come at a time when the domestic and international career opportunities for international students are growing.
Services provided by Careers Consultants will include:
international employment information
international graduate employment
international internships and vacation work
job hunting seminars and workshops |

Maryanne Mooney who has recently been appointed the new International Careers Consultant is based at the Hawthorn campus. Maryanne will focus on the career and employment outcomes of international students.
Maryanne has lived and worked overseas, and prior to coming to Swinburne, worked in a variety of career education roles in Sydney - Macquarie University, Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE and Oakhill College. Maryanne brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion to her new role and is very excited about working with international students.

Angela Vaughan has also been appointed International Careers Consultant (part time). She will job share the role with Maryanne Mooney and be available Mondays. Angela has a background in recruitment and HR, with a specific interest and passion for graduate recruitment. She has undertaken graduate recruitment for the following companies: Slater and Gordon Lawyers, Seek.com.au, CSC (Computer Science Corporation), Elders, Commonwealth Bank, Telstra, BOC, ATO and more.
She has also worked in Higher Education for the University of South Australia and RMIT in their careers and employment services.
